Grand theory of why everything sucks

Craig Ferguson's opening monologue rant from last week gives his grand theory of why everything sucks. Sure, it could have been penned by CBS' ad sales group, who pound the pavement pitching the importance of whole audience popularity (which places CBS as the most-watched network) vs. the 18-49 adult demo (which advertisers tend to value). But in the broadcast late-night field, only Ferguson (and, on occasion, Dave Letterman) ever seems to really drop the veneer of Talk Show Host and bluntly says what they really think. What's great about Ferguson is he cares ... and yet doesn't give a s--t ... if that distinction makes sense ...
